One more application submitted – my third in two weeks!
Tuck was relatively simpler since I used most of the raw material from my previous essays. The tough element was Why Tuck, and also Contributing to Tuck. But I think I’d done enough research on Tuck over 3 months to know very well why I want to be there. After that, its just a matter of putting your thoughts into words.
None of my essays are within 500 words – they range anywhere between 536 (criticism) to 648 (career), but I’m not worried. I know Tuck “suggests” a historical average of 500, but thats exactly what averages are supposed to be – I mean, one leg in hot-boiling water and another in ice-cold water doesnt make you feel nice ‘on average’… does it?
I’m taking a break now. For a few days atleast. I’ve sent my LBS set to my reviewers, and have told them to take their time, there’s no urgency any more. Everything is now due in Jan, so why push them unnecessarily?
I’ll start HBS on Sunday after a well deserved 3 day vacation! Where am I off to? Chilling out at home
LOL, thanks for your comment. Unfortunately my income isn’t nearly high enough to outbid the bankers in that game. Besides, I’m more of a buy and hold investor…
Thanks oops! good luck with your apps!
Enjoy the vacation.
Hey Oops… Yes I submitted Tuck yesterday and I am already in Vacation mood… So much that I didn’t even write a post on that.
All th ebest for your apps.
Congrats on completing the Tuck app & goodluck with the others.
