This wait is just killing me!!!I’m trying hard to get a life… in the past 15 days:
- I took M out for our belated (2 weeks overdue) anniversary dinner in a plush 5 star
- Invited a few ex-colleagues with their partners over for dinner/drinks – and cooked for them
- Watched 11 episodes of Heroes season two (in 2 days) on Joox - they had only 11, so I’m waiting…
Apart from this, I’ve done nothing! Absolutely nothing!!! except BW forums, S2S, and the like. Not to mention reading each application more than 25 times 
Every moment, I’m thinking about whether I’ll be in school this time next year, sometimes hallucinating about which one, and other times thinking about interview preparations (when I have no invites yet)
So whats gonna happen to me? If I continue this way, I’ll soon be kicked out of my job for starters - not that I’m too bothered about that , I’m planning to leave in March, admit or no admit! Just that I dont want to go on a bad note…
I know how you feel! I went through the same thing, although my added torture was trying to decide whether to apply to Round 2 schools as a back-up. Thankfully I didn’t have to!
Here’s an idea – are you a Lost watcher? If not, I highly recommend getting the Season’s 1 – 3 DVDs and catching up. It will definitely keep you entertained.
I can definitely empathize! I’ve had multiple conversations over the last few days and everyone wants to know what is happening with business school. I finally told the group of ladies last night that we weren’t talking about it since I have nothing to say until Feb 1st. This process must induce premature wrinkles.

I know how you feel! I’ve been going through the exact same things for the past few weeks and it’s been hard to keep motivation up. In fact, I should be writing code instead of typing this right now… but inspiration to do so eludes me.
I’ve had these feelings before, and usually I just force myself to do things that need to be done. And eventually they go away.
Hope things work out well.
