Posted in General on April 12, 2008 | 1 Comment »
Here’s a funny piece I found on the net (oh well, you know I’ve nothing better to do nowadays, while I think, think, think about my options) – A Stanford MBA student interning at Salomon Brothers, talking about the firm, the people there and his colleagues from other B-schools
Its a ten-yr old story, and I dont [...]

Yesterday, I returned from H’bad, a bit unsure of my MBA dreams. Why?
I’d gone there to recruit for my firm from ISB – which is among the top Bschools in India after the IIMs. Friday was their Consulting day & after meeting more than 20 candidates for about an hour each, I returned to my hotel [...]

I cannot believe the amount of love I’m getting today! Everywhere!
Sample these…
Love sample 1: I was traveling today evening to Hyderabad (more on the ‘why’ later) and the airline had a special lucky seat gift for Valentine’s Day. You guessed it! I got the gift out of 200 odd seats, and the gift was, hold your breath…. [...]

Invited a few ex-colleagues with their partners over for dinner/drinks – and cooked for them
Watched 11 episodes of Heroes season two (in 2 days) on Joox [...]

The Office at School
Posted in Bschools, General, Movies on December 8, 2007 | 2 Comments »
I got this in my email recently, though it seems a bit dated going by the long chain I got it thru.
It is about the pros & cons of the top US B-schools (especially the culture), with each school typefied as a character from the 1999 movie Office Space.
Very funny, and on-target! Enjoy!

I just opened my blog, and was so surprised to see 14300 cumulative hits; why? because I sorta remembered it being ~13800 yesterday, which itself was a surprise SHOCK! I recall having started the blog sometime in May (though active blogging happened only from end July!) and my thoughts then
